Certified RTP is set per mode, so a studio can price a buy at any payback it likes. In1,438 cases across the platform, that number sits below the game’s own base rate. Buying trades payback for time and for variance, which some players genuinely want — but the trade is never shown, and the size of it is nowhere in any lobby.
